Glen,

There is a possibility you have a PC board out or even the eyebrow assembly that switches it. My question to you is how important is the electic power feature? This is a fairly old unit and are you willing to sink a couple hundred bucks into it? If it works well on LP that might be the route to take. However if you full time in the rig then I would put out the money. It's not really something we can diagnois over the net you need a service center.
